Deadpool, the latest superhero film starring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, has had a successful opening in overseas territories. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film has managed to score a massive $12 million in its Wednesday opening from its first seven international markets.
In both the UK and France, it opened to $1.8 million, way ahead of Bryan Singer‘s X Men: Days of Future Past. The R-rated film also saw it break records in Taiwan, taking in a cool $1.4 million – the most successful opening release for a Fox production there ever.
